Who Can Apply? Resources Available, and Virtual CDCP Information Sessions

The Government of Canada has recently launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), designed to ease financial barriers to accessing oral health care for eligible Canadian residents. This plan targets those with an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000 and who do not have access to dental coverage. The CDCP will cover a wide range of services to help keep teeth and gums healthy, as well as prevent and treat oral health issues and diseases.

Who Can Apply?

  • Seniors: Applications are currently being accepted.
  • Persons with Disabilities and Children Under 18: Applications begin in June 2024.
  • All Remaining Eligible Canadian Residents: Applications open in 2025.

Virtual CDCP Information Sessions: Virtual information sessions will be provided and will cover an overview of the plan, explain the application process, and answer any questions. Details for the sessions are as follows:
