As another Halloween season comes to a close, Lupus Canada would like to thank everyone who helped make our 2025 Purple Pumpkin for Lupus campaign a success.
Across Canada, families, classrooms, and workplaces came together to paint pumpkins purple and raise awareness for lupus. Your creativity and community spirit helped make lupus visible in a fun and meaningful way.
A special thank you to Marketing Kitchen for generously donating this year’s raffle prizes and to everyone who participated, donated, and shared their purple creations.

Happy Halloween 🎃
This year, Canadians painted purple pumpkins from coast to coast — at home, in schools, and in the community — helping to spark important conversations about lupus.
From creative classroom projects to heartfelt individual tributes, every purple pumpkin helped raise awareness and show support for those living with lupus.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their purple pumpkin photos this year! Submissions for the 2025 campaign are now closed.
Stay tuned for next year’s Purple Pumpkin for Lupus campaign returning in October 2026. Until then, you can continue to help make lupus visible by sharing information, telling your story, or participating in other Lupus Canada initiatives.
Even though Halloween has passed, there are many ways to continue supporting Canadians impacted by lupus:
Share the Message: Talk about lupus year-round and help spread awareness in your community.
Get Involved in Schools and Workplaces: Plan creative activities that promote understanding and inclusion.
Donate: Your generosity helps fund lupus research, education, and advocacy efforts. Visit our donation page here.
Together, we made this Halloween truly spook-tacular — and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Let’s keep the momentum going as we continue working toward a Life Without Lupus.
