Thomas J. Simpson

Thomas J. Simpson is Vice President, Advocacy and Research at Food Banks Canada, where he leads national efforts to influence policy and advance solutions to food insecurity and poverty. He previously served as Vice President at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), where he drove national advocacy campaigns and expanded employment opportunities for Canadians with sight loss. As Chair of Lupus Canada, he champions the voices and needs of people living with lupus. With over a decade of experience in public affairs, nonprofit leadership, and program operations, Thomas has built impactful advocacy campaigns and secured meaningful policy change.
