Lupus Society of Nova Scotia WALK FOR

AWARENESS & RESEARCH Sunday, May 16th 2010

All proceeds to benefit lupus research and awareness programs.

Walk for Lupus 2010! This year will be bigger and better. The Lupus Society of Nova Scotia will host at least 3 Walks with more pending. We need you’re help to make this event grow.

Lupus is the disease with a thousand faces, chances are you or someone you know has been affected by this life threatening disease. Be a part of a cure and sign up for the walk nearest you.

To date there are 3 scheduled WALKS in the province of Nova Scotia. They will take place May 16th, 2010. The WALKS are taking place in Amherst, Halifax and Windsor. Our goal this year is to have at least 6 WALK sites in the province. We are looking for 3 more sites. Examples are the regions of Cape Breton, Yarmouth and New Glasgow and Bridgewater..  

This is a great opportunity for PUBLIC AWARENESS. We are looking for Team Captains and walkers in these areas.  Your efforts will enable those living with lupus with a greater chance of a cure and a better life.

  Venue: The Couch House (downtown Windsor beside Tim Horton’s
  Registration 2:30 p.m.
  Walk Begins at 3:00 p.m.
  
  
• "Walk a Block" Yarmouth
  Date: Sunday, May 16th
  Venue: Yarmouth Mall
  Registration 1:30 p.m.
  Walk Begins at 2:00 p.m.
  
  
• "Walk a Block" Stellarton
  Date: Sunday, May 16th
