Lupus Society of Nova Scotia WALK FOR AWARENESS & RESEARCH OCTOBER 25, 2009

All proceeds to benefit lupus research and awareness programs.

Walk for Lupus 2009! This year will be bigger and better. The Lupus Society of Nova Scotia will host three separate walks simultaneously. We need you’re help to make this event grow.

Lupus is the disease with a thousand faces, chances are you or someone you know has been affected by this life threatening disease. Be a part of a cure and sign up for the walk nearest you.

To date there are 3 scheduled WALKS in the province of Nova Scotia. They will take place Oct 25, 2009. The WALKS are taking place in Amherst, Halifax and Windsor. Our goal this year is to have at least 6 WALK sites in the province. We are looking for 3 more sites. Examples are the regions of Cape Breton, Yarmouth and New Glasgow and Bridgewater..  

This is a great opportunity for PUBLIC AWARENESS. We are looking for Team Captains and walkers in these areas.  Your efforts will enable those living with lupus with a greater chance of a cure and a better life.
