The LSNS is sending out a call to all members who have let their memberships lapse since the formation of the society in 1987.  This would be a great opportunity to renew your membership and be counted. Together we are stronger and together we can make a difference.

There are approximately 1000 Nova Scotians with lupus. It may be you or your mother, sister, brother or neighbour that suffers with lupus, let us all come together with the LSNS, a society committed to making a real difference.

LSNS Mission Statement

The aim of the LSNS is to educate patients, their families and the general public—including medical personnel— about lupus. We also provide a support network for patients and their families who have been diagnosed with the disease. We have both a I-800 number and a local number for messages. We publish a newsletter and send information packets to new members and those seeking information on lupus. We promote lupus awareness and raise funds for lupus research.
